Chopin’s famous short “De Xilei children” there is a very humble person, she was unknown, and never played directly. From a narrative point of view, Chopin’s role seems to be designed only to increase the dramaticness of the end of the story. However, from a new perspective of reading texts, the unnamed anonymous is a key figure and her role in the novel With all-round, strong “disruptive ”. In a sense, she subverted the whole story to make it have a surprising effect and meaning; more importantly, she subverted the Rabe plantation, subverting her beloved son’s identity, which also subverted the United States Social-led power relations. The disruptive force she produced was attributed to the ethnic and gender relations peculiar to American society at that time. Therefore, only from the specific historical context, can we thoroughly understand the profound connotation of this novel.
