耗资62亿元于1996年建成通车的沪宁高速公路,串联起了上海、苏州、无锡、常州、南京,这些长三角璀璨的明珠城市,是一条沟通江苏与上海的经济大动脉,更是一条流金淌银的黄金通道。然而近年来,这条曾经获得了国家鲁班奖的国内一流水平的高速公路,正面临着日趋严重的挑战:当初3万6千辆次的设计日流量,如今局部最高已达到7万辆次。设计寿命到2010年的这条动脉实在不胜重负。有专家说“它已经遭受了结构性的破坏”。现在沪宁高速公路的情况是车辆拥堵越来越严重,在一定范围内已经影响到沿线经济的发展。在下面这组专题中,我们除了剖析沪宁血脉不畅的原因,还试图找出问题的解决方案。
