放射性药物由于肝脏肝细胞可从循环中选择性地将其移去并排入胆汁,故能用于肝脏和胆汁排泄形式的显影,已知含乙酰苯胺基亚胺基二乙酸的化合物与锝(Tc-99m)结合,可迅速排入胆汁,并可描绘肝内胆管和肝脏的清晰对比影像,Mebrofenin就是此类化合物之一。合成 2,4,6-三甲基苯胺(Ⅰ)在盐酸中与溴进行溴化反应,生成3-溴-2,4,6-三甲基苯胺(Ⅱ),然后在吡啶和醋酐存在下与氮基三乙酸(Ⅲ)缩合而得Mebrofenin[BE891534]。
