目前,我国英语课程改革倡导“乐中学”与“快乐教育”的教学理念,并深受早在美国实施的幽默教学的启发。幽默成为学生评价教师的重要指标,教师人格魅力的体现,使教与学的双边活动轻松而有效。英语教师要充分了解幽默教学的特征及其适度等原则。幽默在英语词汇教学中的力量不容小觑,要扬其长避其短,利用幽默来促进英语词汇教学。
At present, the reform of English curriculum in our country advocates the teaching concept of “Music Middle School” and “Happy Education”, and is deeply inspired by the humor teaching that was implemented in the United States. Humor has become an important indicator for students’ evaluation of teachers. The embodiment of teacher’s personality charm makes the bilateral activities of teaching and learning easy and effective. English teachers should fully understand the characteristics of humor teaching and its appropriate principles. The power of humor in English vocabulary teaching should not be underestimated, to avoid its shortcomings, the use of humor to promote English vocabulary teaching.
