The most important influence of deconstruction on literary criticism is the resolution of meaning. Does digestion meaning mean nihilism? To answer this question, we need to return to its original problematic context. In the pedigree of deconstruction and criticism, Derrida, Roland Barthes and Paul Derman are the most prominent representatives. Through the analysis and sorting of these three thinkers, this dissertation draws the conclusion that deconstruction and criticism do not aim at nihilism but rather break the meaning worship existing in the interpretation of traditional texts through the multiple meanings of their meanings.
