Objective To investigate the clinical characteristics of patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome after surgery, to facilitate the early identification of patients with postoperative soft-limbs. Methods The clinical data of 10 patients with Guillain-Barre syndrome after surgery were retrospectively analyzed. Results All 10 patients had a definite history of surgery before onset. The first symptom after surgery was (11 ± 3) days from onset of surgery, and the average onset time to peak was 2.5 days. Of these, 6 were characterized by limb weakness Show it. After admission, all patients were given intravenous drip of human immunoglobulin. Follow-up: Four patients returned to normal, three had to walk with the help, two had limited mobility and one had died. Conclusions The incidence of Guillain-Barre syndrome should be considered within 2 weeks after surgery, especially in patients with soft paralysis after limb or lumbar surgery.
