胡小石先生(1888—1962),名光炜,号倩尹,又号夏庐,晚年号沙公。原籍浙江嘉兴,生长于南京。为现代通儒,善四体书,尤以隶书独步今世。本文研读胡小石隶书艺术,以期有启后来学者。观赏胡小石先生隶书艺术,可以“正,拙,姿,朴”四字形容。其篆隶相融,苍雅品训;秀气成采,精理为文;致化唯一,稽古道深,是谓“正”。其实笔厚重,涩行道劲;高耸横逸,方峻瘦硬;各因其体,矫矫不群,是谓“拙”。其枢中所动,环流无倦;墨采腾奋,情舒意卷;龙飞凤翥,万象纷变,是谓“姿”。其唯
