法国1986年进行的一次研究表明母乳在很大程度上被有机氯农药污染。1990年分析了30份母乳样品,测定了其中的123种有机氯农药和总PCBs水平,得到了同样的阳性结果。此后又收集了20份产后2～90d乳母的奶汁,分析了17种不同的PCB同类物质和13种有机氯农药。研究表明,所有样品都至少含有17种PCB同类物中的几种,而且大部分都超过了瑞士法定的最高食物允许水平。
A study conducted in France in 1986 showed that breast milk was largely contaminated with organochlorine pesticides. In 1990, 30 breast milk samples were analyzed and 123 organochlorine pesticides and total PCBs levels were determined. The same positive result was obtained. Since then, 20 more maternal milk from postpartum aged 2 to 90 days have been collected, and 17 different PCB congeners and 13 organochlorine pesticides have been analyzed. Research shows that all samples contain at least a few of the 17 PCB congener species, and most of them exceed the maximum Swiss food allowable levels.
