淮河流域是我国重要的粮棉基地,同时也是旱涝频繁地区,该地区气候预测能力的提高,是减少人民生命及经济损失的基础和前提.由北京大学赵柏林院士主持的国家自然科学基金重大项目“淮河流域能量与水分循环试验和研究(HUBEX)”利用外场观测试验所获得的气象、水文、雷达、卫星遥感等加密与特殊观测资料,分析了东亚季风区中尺度降水系统的能量与水循环过程,并建立了区域气候/水文数值模式及资料同化系统,以提高对气候模拟和预测的能力.该项目主要成果包括:
The Huaihe River Basin is an important grain and cotton base in China and also a frequent area with heavy drought and floods. The improvement of climate prediction capability in this area is the foundation and premise for reducing people’s lives and economic losses. The National Natural Science Foundation of China, chaired by academician Zhao Bolin of Peking University, The project “Energy and Water Cycle Experiment and Research in Huaihe River Basin (HUBEX)” used the data of meteorological, hydrological, radar and satellite remote sensing obtained from field observation experiments to analyze the energy and water cycle of the mesoscale precipitation system in the East Asian monsoon region Process and established a regional climate / hydrological numerical model and data assimilation system to improve the ability to simulate and predict the climate.The main achievements of the project include:
