抗战时期,上海、南京、镇江、扬州等华东地区的回族积极投身抗战救亡运动,特别是在战时慈善救济方面贡献良多,包括安置难民、送诊施药、亡人殡葬和维持教育等。回族救济活动体现了伊斯兰教“行善”观念,也反映了国难当头的民族情怀。以回族富商为代表,宗教界、中小业主界积极投身救济活动,营造了全民慈善的良好氛围。
During the war of resistance against Japan, the Hui nationality in eastern China such as Shanghai, Nanjing, Zhenjiang and Yangzhou actively participated in the War of Resistance Against Japan, the Sudan, and especially made outstanding contributions to wartime charitable relief. They included resettlement of refugees, medical treatment, death funeral and education. Hui relief activities embody the Islamic concept of “good deeds,” and also reflect the national feelings that the national crisis takes the lead. The representative of the rich in the Hui as the representative, religious circles, small and medium owners actively involved in relief activities, creating a good atmosphere of universal charity.
