睡眠受机体稳态平衡机制及生物钟调控,并随个体发育而不断变化。充足、规律的睡眠,对儿童的体格发育、智力、情感、认知、行为,以及成年期疾病的预防,均有良好的促进作用。近年来,随着社会经济的发展,以及人类学习、生活方式的改变,儿童的睡眠模式也经历着一定的变化。儿童每天的睡眠时间与既往的参照标准存在一定差距,特别是中小学生的睡眠时间有较大程度的缩短。这与儿童的睡眠习惯,以及社会、父母对儿童期望值的改变,均存在一定的相关性。
