目的探讨E-cadherin及N-cadherin在乳腺癌中表达的相关性及临床意义。方法采用免疫组织化学法检测2 8例乳腺癌癌旁组织、6 4例乳腺癌组织及2 6例腋窝转移淋巴结组织中E-cadherin及N-cadherin的表达,并与临床病理资料进行对照分析。结果乳腺癌癌旁组织、乳腺癌组织和腋窝转移淋巴结组织中E-cadherin阳性表达率分别为9 2.9%,5 3.1%和3 4.6%,N-cadherin阳性表达率分别为1 0.7%,4 3.8%和5 7.7%。两种蛋白在3种不同组织中的表达呈反向趋势,差异均有显著性(P<0.05),且两种蛋白在乳腺癌中的表达存在高度相关性(P<0.0 5)。E-cadherin表达降低及N-cad-herin表达升高均与乳腺癌病理分级、淋巴结转移、c-erbB-2阳性有密切关系;它们的表达在上述的指标的分组间差异有显著性(P<0.0 5)。结论 E-cadherin蛋白表达降低与N-cadherin蛋白异常表达与乳腺癌的发生及浸润转移有密切关系;在乳腺癌发展过程中,E-cadherin向N-cadherin转化可能发挥重要作用。
Objective To investigate the correlation and clinical significance of E-cadherin and N-cadherin expression in breast cancer. Methods Immunohistochemical method was used to detect the expression of E-cadherin and N-cadherin in 28 cases of paracancerous tissues, 64 cases of breast cancer and 26 cases of axillary lymph node metastasis. The expression of E-cadherin and N-cadherin were compared with clinicopathological data. Results The positive expression rates of E-cadherin in breast cancer adjacent tissues, breast cancer tissues and axillary lymph node tissues were 9 2.9%, 5 3.1% and 3 4.6%, respectively, and the positive rates of N-cadherin were 1 0.7%, 4 3.8 % And 5 7.7%. The expression of the two proteins in three different tissues showed a reverse trend, the difference was significant (P <0.05), and the two proteins were highly correlated in breast cancer (P <0.0 5). The decrease of E-cadherin and the increase of N-cadherin expression were closely related to the pathological grade, lymph node metastasis and c-erbB-2 positive expression in breast cancer. The expressions of E-cadherin and N-cadherin were significantly different among the above groups <0.0 5). Conclusions The decrease of E-cadherin protein expression and the abnormal expression of N-cadherin protein are closely related to the occurrence of breast cancer and the invasion and metastasis. In the development of breast cancer, the transformation of E-cadherin to N-cadherin may play an important role.
