本文考察二语词汇知识与语言交流能力,特别是与阅读、写作、听力及口语等四种语言技能的关系研究,回顾几年来国外二语词汇知识和语言水平之间相关性的调查研究。传统研究认为词汇知识对语言技能有很强的预测力,而最近的研究表明,综合测量词汇知识不同维度会提高这种预测力。词汇知识广度、深度和自动化程度对任何语言技能的发展都是必不可少的,这要求二语教学工作者周密考虑词汇应该如何系统地置入语言课程中,以便为二语教学实践提供更好的指导。
This thesis examines the relationship between L2 vocabulary knowledge and language communication ability, especially the relationship with reading, writing, listening and speaking, and reviews the correlation between foreign L2 vocabulary knowledge and language proficiency over the past few years. Traditional studies suggest that lexical knowledge has strong predictive power on language skills, whereas recent studies show that predicting lexical knowledge in different dimensions increases this predictive power. The breadth, depth and degree of automation of vocabulary knowledge are essential for the development of any language skills, which requires SLC workers to carefully consider how vocabularies should be systematically incorporated into language classes in order to provide better second language teaching practices Guidance.
