Objective: To study the related factors of surgical site infection in patients with rectal cancer. Methods: From September 2014 to September 2015, 26 patients with colon cancer who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital were selected as the research objects. Retrospective analysis of the clinical data of patients, the use of univariate and multivariate analysis of induction of colon cancer patients with surgical site infection related factors. Results: Among all the infected patients, 16 were males and 10 were females. The patients were 30-75 years old and the average age was 47.2 ± 3.8 years. All patients underwent surgery for anesthesia, and perioperative antibiotics were used. The duration of infection in patients was 2-14 days after surgery, with an average of (8.12 ± 2.18) days after surgery. The study also found that Escherichia coli is the main pathogen causing infection in the surgical site, which produces extended-spectrum β-lactamase accounted for 87.3%; analysis of multiple factors causing surgical site infection found that patients with surgery over 3.5h, high LDL has not yet reached 1.03mmol / L and preoperative fasting blood glucose more than 6.1mmol / L is also a risk factor for colorectal cancer surgery site infection, but patients with laparoscopic surgery, can effectively reduce the infection rate. Conclusion: The main pathogen causing colorectal cancer infection in surgical site is Escherichia coli. The operative time, laparoscopic operation, preoperative fasting blood glucose and high density lipoprotein are the related factors affecting the surgical site infection.
