对学生来说,创新的意义重在过程。在创新中,他们得到了认识的成果,这对他是新增添的知识,但不用这种探索的方式,仅仅用教授的方式,也是可以得到这些认识成果的。而在创新的过程中,他经历的种种探索,则可以给学生全方位的收获。比如,学生在做一个课题:考察蜗牛有没有眼睛。考查的结果可能并没有一致的结论,但这并不是最重要的,重要的是学生十分投入地使用自己所有的知识去学习、探索;这一过程获得的,不仅有许多新鲜知识,更有着能力和态度。这样看来,青少年儿童的创新是他们学习的核心过程。反过来,他们也是在创新中进行学习的。我们从创新的高度来看待青少年儿童是天生的学习者,就会进一步解放思想。那么,英语课堂教学怎样才能有效地开发学生的创新思维能力呢?在教学中,笔者通过创设情景,引导学生在自主、合作、探究的学习过程中努力的发现问题,探寻解决问题的方法和途径。经过设问启智,进而培养学生的英语创新思维能力。
