Most of the northern cities in China rely on coal for heating, and heating energy consumption occupies a considerable proportion of the total energy consumption. The use of low-temperature geothermal water and industrial waste heat below 90 °C, in addition to economic benefits, there are two major social benefits of rational use of resources and protection of the environment from pollution. The high-temperature flue gas heat produced by coal combustion is of high grade, and its functional capacity is more than 5 times higher than that of 60°C hot water. Coal and 60°C hot water have different textures. Many important uses of coal are not available at 60°C hot water. It is unreasonable that coal-fired heating is maintained at room temperature of 18°C, and that the energy available for conversion to work is severely lost. In order to distinguish it from the conventional 95-70°C hot water heating system, the system using low heat energy can be referred to as low temperature heating. Different from the boiler heating system, the low temperature heating system
