本文对唐代末年隐士无能子的生平思想及其哲学著作《无能子》进行了探索。文章通过现有材料，推测了无能子的大致年龄、性格、学问及创作情况；对《无能子》原本三十四篇进行了辩证，纠正了前人的看法，肯定《无能子序》为作者自序。文章对《无能子》的哲学思想进行了分析，还论述了这些哲学小品文对于文学发展的贡献，论定了《无能子》在文学史上的地位。
This essay explores the lifeless thoughts of hermits in the late Tang Dynasty and the philosophical book “Inconvenience”. Through the existing materials, the article deduces the approximate age, character, knowledge and creation of the impotent child. It dialects the original 34 incapacitated children, corrects the previous views, and affirms that the “incompetent” as the author preface. The article analyzes the philosophical thoughts of “incompetent son”, discusses the contribution of these philosophical essays to the development of literature, and decides the status of “incompetent son” in the literary history.
