在英语文献中,语言耗损通常被看作是语言习得的逆过程;基于语言耗损的研究成果在国外制定外语政策和语言教学的实践中起着非常重要的作用。然而,作为世界上最大的将英语作为外语的国家,我国的语言耗损研究尚未系统开展。本文通过回顾国内外关于语言耗损问题的研究成果,对比中国大学英语教学(非英语专业)的现状,指出在中国开展语言耗损研究,尤其是实证研究,对我国大学英语政策的制定具有重要指导意义。
In the English literature, language loss is usually seen as the reverse process of language acquisition; the research results based on language loss play a very important role in the practice of foreign language policy and language teaching in foreign countries. However, as the largest country in the world that uses English as a foreign language, the study of language loss in our country has not yet been systematically carried out. By reviewing the domestic and foreign research results on the issue of language consumption and comparing the current situation of Chinese college English teaching (non-English major), this paper points out that the study of language loss in China, especially the empirical research, is of great guiding significance for the formulation of our college English policy .
