The establishment of the subject-the history of Chinese philosophy is a dynamic process.From 1910s to1930s,there are many different interpretation frameworks about it.Xie Wu-liang’s book the history of Chinese Philosophy published in 1916,is the first book on this subject.It embodied the trend in elucidating the Chinese in terms of the Western.In 1919,Hu Shi published the Outline of the History of Chinese Philosophy(Volume I),and in 1930s,Feng Yu-lan published the History Chinese Philosophy.These two books established a matured interpretative framework in elucidating the Chinese in terms of the Western.Zhong Tai insisted on the traditional interpretative mode-elucidating the Chinese in terms of Chinese in his book the History of Chinese Philosophy published in 1929.Fan Shou-kang preliminary applied the interpretative framework in elucidating the Chinese in terms of Marxism in his book General Introduction to the History of Chinese Philosophy published in 1937.Today,when the developing direction of the subject-the history of Chinese Philosophy turns vague,reconsidering the exploration of the advanced talents in this subject will make an important enlightenment.
