本文对湖南省１２家医院１９９６年上报医药经济信息网的有效药品购入数据进行了统计，从药品分类及其亚类金额分配比重、单个药品金额排序、金额排序前１００位药品在１２家医院的普及率、各类药品进入国家基本药物目录的比例等方面进行了总结和分析，为医院用药的科学管理提供依据。
