溴氰菊酯,又名敌杀死。纯品为白色无味结晶粉末。它对光照反应稳定,遇碱容易分解。对农作物害虫有强烈的触杀作用,也有胃毒、杀卵和拒避作用,是毒力强、用量少、残留期较长,使用安全,防治效果好,适用于防治棉花等经济作物害虫的新型农药。我市于1980年开始试用。1982年在主产棉区九江、彭泽、湖口等县试验示范防治棉花害虫的面积达6.5万多亩.1983年大面积推广到15万多亩次.经多年生产实践证明,溴氰菊酯防治棉花害虫,可以保证增产增收。(一)用量少,杀虫广,防效好,比其他新老农药优越。2.5％的溴氰菊酯,每亩次用量只需有效成份0.25—0.75克。防治叶面害虫,如棉蚜、棉叶蝉等,每亩次用2.5％溴氰菊酯为5—10毫升;防治钻蛀性害虫,如棉铃虫、红铃虫等,每亩次用
