民俗之“民”,即民俗主体的范围,在中外民俗学史上一直是引起争议的问题,近年来尤为引人关注。从区分社会情境的角度来界定“民”的范围,可将社会情境分为两种类型:生活情境和公务情境。生活情境中的任何人都是“民众”的成员,生存在民俗模式之中;而在公务情境中,人会自觉地调整自己的行为方式,以契合自己此时的公务人员身份。生活情境可进一步划分为文化背景与现场处境两部分。情境分析法也是一种很有解释力的民俗研究方法。
Folk “people”, that is, the scope of the folk subject, has always been a controversial issue in the history of Chinese and foreign folklore and has drawn particular attention in recent years. To define the scope of “people” from the perspective of distinguishing between social situations, social situations can be divided into two types: life situations and official situations. Anyone in a life situation is a member of the “people” and lives in a folklore model. In a business situation, people will consciously adjust their behavior to suit their status as public servants at this time. The life situation can be further divided into two parts: the cultural background and the scene. Situational analysis is also a very explanatory folklore method.
