本文结合笔者多年教学经验,系统分析了中等职业技术学校非英语专业学生英语教学的现状。结果表明:缺乏语言环境,说英语的机会少;学生基础薄弱,教学目标实现困难;教学课程安排松散,缺乏课后自主学习意识是影响学生英语学习的主要原因。为此,文章针对中等职业技术学校学生的特点,分析了产生这些影响因素的主要原因并提出建议。
Based on the author’s years of teaching experience, this paper systematically analyzes the current situation of non-English majors’ English teaching in secondary vocational schools. The results show that lacking of language environment, few opportunities to speak English, weak foundation of students and difficulties in teaching objectives, loose teaching schedule and lack of awareness of after-school self-learning are the main reasons that affect students’ English learning. Therefore, the article analyzes the characteristics of students in secondary vocational schools, analyzes the main reasons for these factors and puts forward some suggestions.
