《普通高中英语课程标准》指出,英语课程的学习,既是学生通过英语学习和实践活动,逐步掌握英语知识和技能,提高语言实际运用能力的过程;又是学生提高思考和判断能力,培养合作精神,树立正确的人生观、世界观和价值观,增强社会责任感,全面提高人文素质的过程。因此,在英语教学中,教师不仅仅要传授学生知识、培养学生学习策略,还应当关注每个学生的情感,重视在语言教学中对学生进行德育渗透。
