上个世纪20年代蓬勃发展的电影工业体制内,产生了一批具备敏锐视角的电影制作者,他们从默片开始,就专注于影片中片头片尾的设计与创作,力求在字体设计、版面布局、光影色彩上既具有设计的美感,又符合影片的需求。索尔·巴斯就是其中一位最具代表性的电影片头设计师。他是动态影像设计的鼻祖,以一部又一部经典电影片头推动着电影以及动态影像设计的发展。然而作为视觉艺术的一个重要分支,动态影像设计由于其强大的技术背景与互动性特征,也推动着视觉艺术进入一个全新多样化的历史新时期,让设计有了新面貌。
