2009年10月,五年一次的全国十一届美展中国画展在上海展览中心展出。画展比较真实地反映近5年我国国画界创作的整体水平和面貌,但跟以往比没有突破性的进展。一个突出的问题就是工笔远远超过写意,制作性作品充斥画展,作品缺少激情,“唯美”写实成为主流。很多画根本不用墨和线,或是极力弱化回避墨线,以掩盖笔墨基本功之不足和书法的欠缺。工笔画的抢眼,似乎显现出写意画的平淡。中国画所特有的文人气质和写意精神严重缺失,工笔画成为当下中国画画坛的创作趋势,引起广泛的关注。陈履
In October 2009, the five-year National Exhibition of Chinese Art at the 11th National Art Exhibition was held in Shanghai Exhibition Center. The exhibition truly reflects the overall level and appearance of the creation of Chinese painting circles in the past five years, but there is no breakthrough in comparison with the past. A prominent problem is that works of art are far more than freehand writing, works of art are full of art exhibitions, and works lack passion. “Aestheticism ” has become the mainstream. Many paintings do not have ink and lines at all, or they try very hard to evade ink lines so as to cover up the inadequacies of their basic skills and the lack of calligraphy. Brushwork strokes, seem to show the plainness of freehand painting.
