“十七年”时期,中国的电影事业百废待兴,广大的电影创作人满怀热情去歌颂新生活、新社会,一大批“高大全”的工农兵形象在银幕上应运而生,投射出浓厚的时代气息和中华民族特色。这段时期的电影结合了当时社会的政治语境,遵循着当时的电影政策导向。因此,“十七年”时期的电影美术创作也会以“有意味的形式”贯穿在整个电影的创作之中,是为电影的题材所服务的,不可避免地将意识形态国家机器和导演们的“政治无意识”贯穿其中。
