Premier Li Keqiang arrives in Bishkek, capital of the Kyrgyzstan, on November 2 for an official visit to the country and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) prime ministers’ meeting.
The SCO, established in Shanghai in 2001, provides a way for China to cooperate with Russia and four Central Asian nations—Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
During the eight-day trip, Li also visited Kazakhstan, Latvia and Russia and attended a meeting with heads of government from Central and Eastern European countries in Riga, Latvia.
