For nearly 30 years epidemiologists and clinicians have confirmed that viral infections and chemicals overlap in the body and that interactions can lead to a few conditions, such as susceptibility to ampicillin drug eruptions such as infectious mononucleosis. The authors propose the hypothesis that there may be some undetected adverse effects of several virus-drug interactions. Confirmation and understanding of these adverse reactions help to find ways to combat these conditions that are beyond our control.
