作者发展并试用了一个研究人体皮肤吸收液体化合物的方法。当一种药物与软膏基质混合后应用于皮肤时由于基质而使问题复杂化,因而研究了在皮肤表面采用纯粹的液体化合物。本文试验了水杨酸乙酯、水杨酸甲酯及水杨酸乙二醇三种液体水杨酸酯化合物。为了在含水及无水情况下长时期暴露皮肤于穿透物,作者设计了一个可被固定在臂上的塑料室(1×5×10cm),在塑料室内放入海绵以吸收液体化合物。实验结果是,若皮肤表面湿度过大则引起在尿中排泄速率的增加;其增加比例随水杨酸
The authors developed and tested a method for studying the absorption of liquid compounds in human skin. When a drug is mixed with an ointment base and applied to the skin, the problem is complicated by the matrix. Therefore, purely liquid compounds have been studied on the skin surface. In this paper, three kinds of liquid salicylate compounds, ethyl salicylate, methyl salicylate and ethylene glycol salicylate, were tested. In order to expose the skin to the permeate for a long period of time in the presence of water and in the absence of water, the author designed a plastic chamber (1 x 5 x 10 cm) which can be fixed to an arm and placed a sponge in the plastic chamber to absorb the liquid compound. The experimental result is that if the skin surface humidity is too high, it causes an increase in excretion rate in the urine; the increased proportion with salicylic acid
