Energy Daily, 2014-09-26 According to a study by UC Irvine, Stanford University and the non-profit Near Zero researchers, it is found that supplying adequate natural gas will not help to reduce the amount of harmful greenhouse gases that cause climate change in the United States. They point out that cheap natural gas increases electricity consumption, hindering the expansion of clean energy use such as wind and solar.
