由于各种大型电机的组装方式及外形尺寸的差异,故在测定其噪声时所采用的方法就不同,不可能用一个测定方法来解决所有大型旋转电机的噪声测定。因此,在编制我国大型旋转电机噪声测定方法时,根据组装方式及其外形尺寸大小,分为两个类型。这样就形成了两个测定方法标准。即①尺寸较小、能在制造厂内组装完整的大电机,可在声场条件较好的制造厂试验站上做出厂试验时,测定其噪声级;②尺寸较大,在制造厂内没法组装,只能在运行地点组装完整的大型水轮发电机及汽轮发电
