Objective To investigate the relationship between modified ABCD2 score and cerebrovascular stenosis in patients with anterior circulation transient ischemic attack. Methods Sixty-four cases of anterior circulation TIA undergoing whole cerebral angiography were retrospectively analyzed. According to the modified ABCD2 score, the patients were divided into low-risk group (n = 19), intermediate-risk group (n = 25) Morphological characteristics and the relevance of each group. Results The proportion of patients with severe stenosis and occlusion in the high-risk group was significantly higher than that in the low-risk group and the moderate-risk group (P <0.05). The proportion of multi-vessel stenosis in the high-risk group was higher than that in the low-risk group (P <0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the distribution of vascular stenosis between the two groups (P> 0.05). Conclusion The incidence of cerebral stenosis and multivessel stenosis increased with the improvement of ABCD2 score in patients with anterior circulation TIA.
