李一 (美术学博士、美术家栏目主持人): 在中国现代美术史上,作为一个画种,版画与时代主流合拍,曾经放射出耀眼的光辉,引起了全社会的关注,出现了一批杰出的版画家。如果将目光注视到三、四十年代,就会发现版画自身的力量超过了其他画种,但时过境迁,在进入市场经济、艺术走向多元的今天,或许是理论界视而不见,或许是版画界自身力量的萎缩,种种原因使得人们认为版画进入了低谷、冷寂的阶段。鉴于版画的当下处境,为了推动版画的发展,振兴版画艺术,《美术观察》编辑部特邀请在京部分版画家座谈版画的当下状态和存在的问题,希望大家畅所欲言,发表建设性的意见。

If you look into the 1930s and 1940s, you will find that the print itself has more power than other paintings. However, as time goes by and the art market is entering a market economy, the art industry may turn a blind eye to it or perhaps the force of the print industry itself Shrinking, all sorts of reasons make people believe that printmaking has entered the trough, cold silence phase. In view of the current situation of printmaking, in order to promote the development of printmaking and rejuvenate the art of printmaking, the editorial department of Fine Art Observer specially invited some of the printmakers in Beijing to discuss the current status and existing problems of printmaking. I hope everyone will speak out freely and express constructive opinions.
