中绿一号原名DO809绿豆,是中国农科院从联合国粮农组织亚太地区绿豆研究中心引进的良种。经过三年在各地试种均表现良好。我区莲花县种子公司1989年从山东南阳湖农场引进种子3000公斤,当年夏播60亩,秋播1476亩。夏播于5月上、中旬播种,7月中、下旬收获,一般亩产100～150公斤,高的达200公斤。如该县坪里乡农科站5月14日播种0.3亩,7月25日收获,实收57.5公斤,全生育期为72天。收获后于7月31日果枝顶端花序第二次开花结荚,8月25日收获45公斤,稍后又于9月25日第三次收获10公斤,三次共收获112.5公斤,折合亩产375公斤。该站于8月2日秋播,10月5日收获,亩产125公斤,全生育期65天左右。升坊乡种12亩,平均亩产125公斤,高的达150公斤。
