Recent studies have shown that the occurrence of peptic ulcer (PU) is the result of many factors together. The infection of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) is closely related to the occurrence of ulcer. Whether or not Hp is infected depends on its different virulent strains. Studies suggest that Hp toxin plays an extremely important role in the occurrence of PU, producing cytotoxin-related protein A (CagA) and cellular vacuolar toxin A (
