从我国传统中药中进行化学、药理的系统筛选,寻找防病治病的活性物质,是创造有效新药的一个很好的途径,也是发展天然产物化学研究的前导。自新中国建立以来,我国从传统中药中通过筛选,发现不少有效的新药,其中最突出的是:延胡素乙素、天麻素、山茛菪碱、川芎嗪、丹参酮、靛玉红、斑蟊素、五味子脂甲素、青蒿素等均已推荐于临床使用。在国外,对他们本国传统药物的研究也很重视,通过筛选创造了有效新药已成为新商品的如:七叶皂甙(Aescin心血管药)、长春胺(Vincamine脑血管扩张药)、阿马林(Ajmaline心血管系统疾病药)等。为了总结国内外寻找新药的经验和如何发挥我国传统中药的特点和优势,使新药不断踊现,同时为开展天然产物化学研究在学术上
