Ovarian cancer is one of the most common malignancies in the female reproductive system. Early onset is occult, and the diagnosis is mostly mid-term late, with a high fatality rate. Because of their small diameter and uniform distribution, nanomaterials with surface modification have better histocompatibility and targeting ability, and have become one of the research hotspots for the diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. This paper reviews the recent advances in the characteristics of nanocarriers for different carriers, nanotechnology in ovarian cancer cell specific capture and ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging in chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and gene therapy.
