据日本经济新闻3月26日刊载,日本大学松户齿学部的池田正教授利用龋齿菌制出的杀菌物质进行预防龋齿的实验,获得成功,这种杀菌物质具有只能杀死龋齿及其有限的同类细菌的奇异特性,没有以霉菌制出的抗生物质的副作用。池田教授等人,在使用食糖制成的糕点等食品中,仅加入微量的这种杀菌物质就见到了十分有效的预防龋齿的作用。因为这种杀菌物质可以用培养或基因重组等方法进行大量生产,所以,如果能确认长期使用时的安全性,作为解决预防龋齿的有效方法,一定会引起母亲们及糕点厂商们的关注。
