The research status of 42CrMo low temperature performance is introduced, including the methods to reduce the ductile-brittle transition temperature, the measures to improve the low-temperature impact toughness and the factors that affect the low-temperature performance of the heat-treatment. And the application of 42CrMo steel in the torsion bar of EMU is prospected.
