Shandong Province, the soft science research base for regional economic development in 2007 by the Shandong Provincial Science and Technology Department approved the establishment of the listing, is the first in Shandong Province Soft Science one of the key research base. The base is anchored by the Shandong Institute of Regional Economics, Shandong Economic University and conducts research on advanced regional economic development experiences at home and abroad, the theory of regional economic frontiers and major practical issues. Its purpose is to serve government decision-making and serve the development of regional economy.
