1999年2月,共康中学建校后的第一个藏历年。 窗外寒风凛冽,接待室内暖意融融。原中共中央政治局委员、上海市委书记黄菊等市区领导来到共康中学,与藏族学生欢度藏历新年。黄菊书记语重心长地说,西藏是伟大中华民族的一部分,西藏学生是祖国的花朵,我们要精心培养他们茁壮成长。 人民的重托,党的温暖,激励着共康中学的全体师生。校长边根华强调:培养维护民族团结、维护祖国统一、反对民族分裂的一代新人,是我们内地西藏中学每个教育工作者的神圣职责。学校坚持把民族团结教育列为德育工作的核心,围绕“爱国讲奋斗,爱校讲团结,爱人讲关心”,把民族团结教育落到实处。 共康中学是一所藏汉合校、以藏族学生为主体的寄宿制初级中学。全校藏汉学生1205人,其中藏族学生715人,常年住校。共康中学的教师不仅需要深广的知识和丰富的教学经验,而且更需要良好的师德,把民族团结教育放在心上,竭力去热爱、关心每一个藏族学生。几年来,学校通过学科渗透、队团课、系列主题班会、科技、文体活动和社会实践等形式,深入持久地进行民族团结教育,增强学生爱国情操,谱写了一曲曲动人的民族团结赞歌。
