The Lisu tribe in Thailand mainly live in northern Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son and other places. Their ancestors used to live in Yunnan, China. In the middle of the 17th century, the Lisu people began to flow from Yunnan to China. About a hundred years ago, a group of Lisu people migrated from Myanmar to Thailand and gradually became Thai citizens today. Although the Lisu people in Thailand have integrated into the local social culture, they still retain the characteristics of their own nationality. For example, like the Lisu people in China, most of the Lisu people in Pai in Thailand retain the tradition of blood sacrifices.
