乡镇食品卫生监督员是我省根据实际情况设立的一支食品卫生监督队伍,作为县级食品卫生监督机构的派出人员,负责本乡镇食品卫生监督执法工作.通过设立乡镇食品卫生监督员,增加了执法力度,扩大了监督覆盖面,从而更加有效地保证了广大农村地区的食品卫生.1 设立乡镇食品卫生监督员的必要性改革开放以来,随着乡镇企业的蓬勃发展,乡镇食品企业异军突起.据统计,1985年全省食品生产经营企业和食品生产经营人员中,乡镇食品企业数和从业人员数分别占60%和40%左右,至1994年,乡镇食品企业数和从业人员数已上升到80%和60%以上.乡镇食品企业数量多,分布广,管理水平低,从业人员素质差.另外,随着商品经济的发展,农村食品流通渠道日
