Objective To investigate the value of laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery for patients with gastric cancer. Methods Sixty patients with gastric cancer were randomly divided into control group and observation group, 30 cases in each. The control group underwent laparoscopic surgery and the observation group underwent laparoscopic minimally invasive surgery. The operation time, incision size, intraoperative blood loss, anal exhaust time, gastrointestinal function recovery time and hospital stay in the two groups were compared Surgery, and postoperative complications. Results The operation time, anal exhaust time, gastrointestinal function recovery time and hospital stay in the observation group were (180.24 ± 32.36) min, (31.02 ± 5.41) h, (4.51 ± 1.02) d, (11.01 ± 2.10) d , Shorter than that in the control group (223.64 ± 35.45) min, (57.86 ± 6.58) h, (7.45 ± 2.42) d and (15.73 ± 3.24) d, respectively. The intraoperative blood loss was (127.36 ± 34.54) ml less than that of the control group (215.36 ± 43.35) ml, respectively; the operative incision was (5.30 ± 2.03) cm shorter than that of the control group (7.92 ± 3.45 cm). There was significant difference between the two groups (P <0.05). The incidence of postoperative complications in observation group (10.00%) was lower than that in control group (33.33%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion The minimally invasive laparoscopic treatment of patients with gastric cancer can effectively improve the operation and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications. It is a safe and reliable treatment and is worth popularizing and applying.
