Since the new era, great changes have taken place in our country’s political, economic and social life. Literary and art forms and themes, including drama, have also been increasingly enriched, and the overall transformation from the traditional model to the modern one has taken place. However, a manifestation that can not be neglected in this process is the frequent appearance of crazy images, which seem to be incompatible with the “modernization.” In practice, however, it is a profound critique and reconstruction of the times. This dissertation takes the madness image in the drama as the research object, analyzes it in depth, and tries to explore the spiritual inheritance and the aesthetic implication fit with the change of the times and the social value orientation from the insane images.
