新课改中指出:教师在教学时要均衡学生的发展,使班级中的好学生带着差学生学习,从而提高班级整体的学习水平。数学教师在小学教学时,班中每一位学生的认知发展思维不同,对知识的理解程度也不同,导致班级中出现学生认知发展水平不一的情况。教师在讲授知识时,讲解的过于简单,班上理解能力较好的学生便会浪费宝贵的课堂时间,而教师若讲授知识过快,一些理解能力较差的学生便会听不懂,教师在教学中经常进退两难。针对学生认知水平不一的情况,一些教师在教学中提出了分层教学,利用分层教学既可以顾及到好学生,又可以顾及到一些理解能力较差的学生,为教师的教学提供了便利。
