In the past few years, the factory had a poor understanding of the importance of export of electromechanical products, and foreign exchange earned through exports has not kept going. In recent years, we have gradually recognized the urgency of opening up the international market, and our export enthusiasm has increased. Our export earnings have increased for three consecutive years. In 1986, the factory earned 1.01 million U.S. dollars in exports, and 452 million U.S. dollars in 1987.
