20世纪50年代以前,侗族地区的教育往往以传统的方式呈现,社会成员在深受传统文化浸润之时,也使本民族的传统文化得以传承。20世纪50年代后,尤其是80年代后,随着现代学校教育的普及,以及工业化、全球化和城镇化的快速发展,民族传统教育日益式微,其传统教育方式渐渐失去了教育的基本内容和主体,民族传统文化的传承随之也日益衰退。
Before the 1950s, education in Dong areas was often presented in a traditional way. When members of the society were deeply infiltrated with traditional culture, they also inherited their own traditional culture. After the 1950s, especially after the 1980s, with the popularization of modern school education and the rapid development of industrialization, globalization and urbanization, the traditional national education has been increasingly diminished, and its traditional methods of education have gradually lost the basic content of education. The inheritance of the main body and the national traditional culture is also on the decline.
