自1990年底美佳超市连锁在东莞开业以来,我国零售业正式导入连锁模式,以规模求效益,行业总体以外延式扩张为主,伴随着企业规模的扩大,积淀下来的问题也越来越多。2004年中国零售业对外资全面开放,此前,内资连锁业为应对新的发展形势加紧跑马圈地,扩大规模,超速发展。“做大”成为过去几年中国连锁业的主题。然而,一些连锁企业由于发展速度太快,在人才、配送体系、核心经营能力等方面都跟不上。一些企业陷入超常规扩张,并未达到做大做强的战略目标,销售规模增长不能支持盈利模式,有规模但未形成有效规模。做强,将成为下一步连锁企业发展的核心问题。
Since the chain opened in Dongguan in the United States in late 1990, China’s retail industry has formally introduced the chain model, seeking efficiency through scale. The overall expansion of the industry is dominated by external expansion. With the expansion of the business scale, there are also more and more problems accumulated. In 2004, China’s retail industry opened its doors to foreign investment in an all-round way. Prior to that, the domestic-funded chain industry stepped up its efforts to cope with the new development and expanded its scale and speeding development. “Bigger ” has become the theme of China’s chain industry in the past few years. However, due to the rapid development of some chain enterprises, they can not keep up with the personnel, distribution system and core operation ability. Some companies caught in unconventional expansion did not reach the strategic goal of bigger and stronger sales growth can not support the profit model, the scale but did not form an effective scale. Stronger, will be the next key to the development of chain enterprises.
